Terms of Service
Last updated: October 16, 2026 · Contact: support@tapmy.store
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Tapmy (“Tapmy”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). They govern your use of tapmy.store, the Tapmy dashboard at app.tapmy.store, stores that creators publish on Tapmy, the Tapmy app for iPhone and iPad, and any related tools, features, and content (together, the “Service”).
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
To sell on Tapmy and receive payouts, you must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and meet Stripe’s requirements for a connected account. You may not use the Service if you are barred from doing so under applicable law.
2. Your account
You can create an account with your email address and a password, or sign in with Google or Apple. You agree to give accurate information and keep it up to date.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away at support@tapmy.store if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.
3. What Tapmy does
Tapmy provides tools that let creators (“Creators”) build stores (“Tapmy Stores”), sell digital products, services, bookings, courses, memberships, and community access, and accept payments from buyers (“Buyers”). Tapmy also provides AI tools that help Creators build, write, and run their stores.
Each sale on a Tapmy Store is between the Creator and the Buyer. The Creator is the seller and is responsible for what they sell. Tapmy is a technology provider and is not a party to transactions between Creators and Buyers.
4. Plans, billing, and cancellation
- Tapmy offers a free plan and paid plans. Current plans, features, prices, and usage allowances (such as AI credits) are shown on our Pricing page and at checkout.
- Paid plans are billed in advance each month through Stripe and renew automatically until you cancel. Applicable taxes may be added.
- You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time in Settings → Plans. When you cancel, paid features stay active until the end of your current billing period, and you will not be charged again.
- Fees already paid are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods, unless the law requires otherwise or we say otherwise in writing.
- Promotions, trials, and discount codes are subject to the terms shown with the offer.
- We may change plan prices or features. We will give you notice before a price change applies to your subscription, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
Plans are not sold through Apple’s in-app purchase system. If you upgrade from the Tapmy app for iPhone or iPad, checkout opens in Safari and is processed by Stripe. Apple is not responsible for these payments, refunds, or billing support.
5. Selling on Tapmy
Payments and fees
To accept payments, you connect a Stripe account to your store and agree to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement. Buyer payments are processed by Stripe and paid into your Stripe account. Payouts follow Stripe’s schedule and requirements.
Tapmy may charge a platform fee on sales made through your store. The fee that applies to your plan is shown on our Pricing page and in your dashboard, and it is deducted automatically when the payment is processed. Stripe also charges its own processing fees. We may change our fees with notice.
If you disconnect Stripe, paid products on your store become unavailable to Buyers until you reconnect a payment account.
Your responsibilities as a Creator
- Describe your products and services accurately, and deliver what you sell.
- Provide customer support, and set and honor a refund policy that complies with the law.
- Report and pay all taxes that apply to your sales and earnings. Tapmy does not provide tax advice.
- Comply with consumer protection, privacy, marketing, and other laws that apply to your business.
- Tell your Buyers how you use their personal information, and use the leads and customer data you collect only as the law allows — for example, get consent before sending marketing emails where required.
- If you add tracking pixels to your store, make sure your use of them complies with the law.
6. Buying from a Tapmy Store
- When you buy from a Tapmy Store, you are buying from the Creator who runs it. The Creator is responsible for the product or service, its delivery, and its quality.
- Refunds are handled by the Creator under their refund policy and applicable law. Tapmy is not responsible for issuing refunds to Buyers unless the law requires it.
- Memberships and community subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. A Creator may remove you from their community, which ends your access and cancels the subscription.
- If a Creator deletes their account, you keep the downloads and courses you bought, and community access and bookings on that store end.
- If you have a problem with a purchase, contact the Creator first. If you cannot resolve it, contact us at support@tapmy.store. Tapmy may, but is not obligated to, help resolve disputes.
7. AI features
- AI features — including store generation, product copy, images, the AI agent, and AI Clone — can produce content that is inaccurate, incomplete, or similar to content generated for others. Review AI output before you publish or rely on it.
- You are responsible for content you publish using AI features, and for what your AI Clone tells visitors based on the information and instructions you give it.
- The AI agent changes your live store only after you allow it to.
- Do not submit content to AI features that you do not have the right to use, or ask them to create content that violates these Terms.
- AI features are subject to usage allowances that depend on your plan, and we may change or discontinue specific AI features.
8. Social accounts and connected services
If you share a social profile during onboarding, you confirm that the profile is yours or that you are authorized to use it. If you connect social accounts to publish content, your posts are also subject to the terms of each network, and you are responsible for what you publish.
Google Calendar (when available)
- By connecting Google Calendar, you allow Tapmy to read your free and busy times and create calendar events for your bookings. You confirm that you have the right to grant this access.
- We are not responsible for scheduling conflicts caused by delays in Google’s systems, changes made directly in Google Calendar, or incorrectly configured busy events.
- You can disconnect at any time in your Tapmy dashboard or in your Google Account security settings. When you disconnect, Tapmy stops accessing your calendar and deletes the stored access credentials.
- If you enable Google Meet links, you agree to Google’s terms for video conferencing. Tapmy is not responsible for the availability or performance of Google’s services.
9. Your content and community rules
Your content
You keep all rights to the content you upload, including text, images, videos, files, and product descriptions. You grant Tapmy a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for example, format or resize), display, and distribute your content only to operate, provide, and improve the Service, including showing your public store and processing your content with AI features at your request.
You confirm that you own or have the necessary rights to all content you upload, and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
Zero tolerance for objectionable content
Tapmy has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You may not post or sell content that is sexually explicit, hateful, harassing, threatening, violent, defamatory, fraudulent, or otherwise objectionable, or content that exploits or endangers minors.
Community owners and admins can delete posts and comments and ban or remove members in their communities, and they are responsible for moderating them.
To report content or a user, email support@tapmy.store with a link to the content or store. We review reports within 24 hours and, where content violates these Terms, remove it and suspend or terminate the accounts responsible.
10. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Sell illegal, counterfeit, or stolen goods, or anything whose sale is prohibited by law or by Stripe.
- Share or promote adult (NSFW) content, hate speech, or harassment.
- Run scams, make misleading claims (including false income or health claims), or engage in fraud or other deceptive practices.
- Send spam or mislead users.
- Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights of others, or impersonate any person or business.
- Upload malware, try to gain unauthorized access, or interfere with the security or operation of the Service.
- Scrape the Service, reverse engineer it, or get around usage limits, except as the law allows.
Tapmy may remove any store or content that violates these Terms or harms the Service, its users, or the public.
11. The Tapmy app for iPhone and iPad
These additional terms apply when you download the Tapmy app from Apple’s App Store (the “App”):
- These Terms are between you and Tapmy only, not Apple. Tapmy, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content.
- Tapmy grants you a limited, non-transferable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in Apple’s Media Services Terms and Conditions.
- Tapmy is solely responsible for maintenance and support of the App. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the App.
- If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the App (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the App. Any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses caused by a failure to conform to a warranty are Tapmy’s responsibility, to the extent these Terms do not disclaim them.
- Tapmy, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the App or your possession and use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and claims under consumer protection, privacy, or similar laws.
- If a third party claims that the App or your possession and use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, Tapmy, not Apple, is solely responsible for investigating, defending, settling, and discharging that claim.
- You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the App, such as your wireless data service agreement.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Once you accept these Terms, Apple has the right (and is deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.
Questions, complaints, or claims about the App can be sent to Tapmy at support@tapmy.store.
12. Tapmy’s intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, trademarks, logos, and templates, is owned by Tapmy or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use them without our written permission, except as these Terms allow. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without any obligation to you.
13. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time in Settings → Profile → Delete Account. You choose a reason, and you can add a note. Deleting your account cancels your Tapmy plan and any community subscriptions before the account is removed.
If you have an upcoming confirmed booking, we will not delete the account until you cancel those bookings and refund any paid ones. Then you can try again.
A store with nothing sold is deleted. A store that still has buyers with access becomes a closed store. It has no public address and no storefront, and it cannot take new sales. Buyers keep the downloads and courses they bought. Community access ends, and bookings end. A product you delivered as a link, including a webinar or challenge sold as a link, stays as that link. Whether the link still works is up to you.
Tapmy may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or behave in a way that could harm the Service, other users, or the public. When your account ends, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — such as fees owed, content licenses needed to wind down, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will survive.
14. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Tapmy does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, that any content (including AI-generated content) will be accurate or reliable, or that you will achieve any particular sales or results.
15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tapmy and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. In no event will Tapmy’s total liability exceed the amount you paid to Tapmy in the six (6) months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they apply to you only to the extent the law allows.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Tapmy, its operators, affiliates, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your content, your sales to Buyers, or your violation of these Terms or the law.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version. If we make material changes, we will tell you by email or with a notice in the Service before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be resolved in the courts of the United States, unless applicable law requires otherwise. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection laws where you live.
19. General
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any terms shown with a specific offer, are the entire agreement between you and Tapmy about the Service. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
20. Contact us
